Anyone in this forum at the drinking age?

I'm not trying to be a dick, just looking to see if there was anyone else out there that was more my age, i've been snowboarding for a while and last season was my first skiing. I was really just looking to see if there was anyone out there that liked to ski the mountain/park and grab a beer afterwards. Mainly all my friends became lame and ditched the mountain scene for wives and babies. I've been rolling with one guy but a crew would be better, and he's still progressing in the park and figured more ppl would make him want to get better. I've done alright in the park, learned 360's with grabs on my like 4th day out, and slide/grind anything out there accept "urban" style rails, still learning that, just letting you know i don't suck incase you thought you didn't want to roll with a newb. Skiing by yourself kinda blows but whatever, just making a pathetic attempt to network a crew. We usually ski at liberty and roundtop and we also make our way over to 7 springs cuz the other guy has access to a condo their (7 springs' on mountain bar scene is nuts!) No weird shit, No gay shit, just skiing and beer, the way god would want it to be. Hit me up on this thread or pm me, whatever. Didn't want to make this sound like a fucking gay ass eharmony ad or anything, just want to fuckin' ski.
Also, would appreciate if no one replied with dick comments, you know how it gets on this board.

im the event coordinator at roundtop and my good friend is the park manager..there are a bunch on ns from rt who are over 21..i am turning 20 in august but there is a good amount of drinkers at rt

Yeah there are lots - there are even some like me, who are too old to drink.
Here is a tip. 7S, RT and Lib all have had decent parks in the past, but a lot of them come to BiG Boulder semi regularly which has the larger park scene.
Every Saturday night They have a band and there is a bar that is always open during open hours. THe beer taps were flowing at the Recent May Day rail jam. Check it out next season.

man, wanted to make it to BB but just couldnt fit that last day in with my finals schedule, I was really irritated with that. Oh well what can you do. So BB always has the beer flowing there? or just certain events? Any Liberty ppl out there?
Also, prophetmatt..... i've seen you before. You were MCing (or whatever you call it, maybe announcing?) the end of year rail jam at RT. Plus the brown plaid jacket was a clear giveaway in your videos. Plus on top of that you are the tallest person i've ever seen on skis hahahahaha. but if you see me say what's up. you might have seen me before, I had the HH camo jacket/pants. at roundtop i'm usually by myself just zoning out. Sometimes I take a few runs with jay (brothers of a snowboarder, don't know their last name) he's pretty good, he was at the rail jam too. But he's like waaaay younger so i just roll a few runs and then ride by myself for awhile. anyways maybe it's a bit early to be asking about this, but i got bored and typed away. keep the thread going with replies, if not whatever, just sitting here waiting for 08/09 to start.

cant help you with anything down there, but if you ever find yourself in central new york i'd be glad to rip the park and grab some beers haha... this will be the first season i can "legally" hit the bar after a nice day of skiing, always looked forward to that.

Roundtop can't serve alcohol because its a dry township or so ive heard..but they are allowed to bring in distributors for events (they have in the past) but the GM is a no no on that which sucks in my opinion..more people would have fun if there was beer..also a local radio station held a beach day at big boulder!!!! Uhmmmmm this doesn't make sense..a HARRISBURG radio station holding an event in the POCONO'S? we need to step up but its tough..were trying..
and i think the passes go up after ocotber 30th..
and if your interested you can always apply for a park and pipe job..pretty laid back atmosphere..fun time..park manager is cool and you get free riding..

sad, very sad, I heard it was bought, but that may have been a rumor. We stayed at some nice ass 2 room condo for like 100 a night or something, it was fucking sweet.

haha ah yes, big tupper, i've been hearing those rumors of it being bought and re-opened for a while now as well, who knows what will happen... but yea i actually go to school about an hour from there, i live about 3 hours south west though around syracuse. ride at a place called toggenburg, expecting big things next season for the park. oh and we have a pretty killer restaurant and bad ass bar for those late afternoon brews, come check it out for suuure.

about 5 years over 21 here.
I happen to also be looking for new ski partners in the upcoming season, actually I'm making it a mission to meet as many NSers as possible. I'm on the eastern side of PA but if I ever get out to springs or Rt I'll drop ya a line, I'm always down for not drinking alone.

Yeah knowing the right ppl is the problem and trying not to party with insanely younger ppl is another problem.
Oh shit... Alicia, saw the name and sounded familiar we talked briefly at liberty and at the whitetail rail jam. Not sure if you remember me (as i'm sure you run into guy skiers all the time). but anyway hope Colorado treats you well and all that good stuff.

You should trek up Belleayre in NY sometime. While the skiing isn't the most amazing, you're not gonna find a better crowd of people to party with. We have great times. Our bar is legit. Every weekend. Check it out.
