Ipod stuck in disk mode?

My ipod nano is stuck in disc mode and Im not sure how to get it out of that mode. Ive tried all the buttons, Ive tried hooking it up to my comp then ejecting it and resetting it, still nothing. When its in disc mode there is an arrow and at the bottom it says ok to disconnect but I cant search through the database for music. Any suggestions?

have u tried to hold down the center and menu while wiggling the hold button?
