How hard is it to get a job in Mammoth or South Lake? I am coming from Breck where is it super easy to get a job. I am thinking shop jobs, not working for the mountain. What does average experienced pay start at too?

If you have a bunch of experience, you'll get a job. If you don't, you won't.
Probably make $10 an hour to initially start out if you've done it before. Kill it before your 30 day review and you could get bumped up significantly.

Shop jobs are really easy to get in September/October... really hard to keep after april.

I am not looking to spend the summer there, so that isn't a big deal. Would I get CA unemployment if I get let go at the end of the season? I know CO offers that. And are rental jobs even easier to get than shop jobs at either place?

Fuck yeah you get unemployment. As long as you're laid off and not fired. Right now I get $500 every other week.

Also, if I work on the Nevada side in Heavenly does that mean that I won't get any income taxes taken out of my paycheck?
