yes? no? i have horrible gumby shins, they hurt as soon as I pressure the front of my boot. Ive tried everything, and i think this is my only option. Anyone ever tried rolling your shins (other than you ced)?
you take something hard and round to your shin like a metal bar or rolling pin and go up and down. it supposedly breaks little tiny pieces of bone so when the bone heals it heals with less air pockets and is therefore denser. it also kills nerve endings
i did some more research, found out it works really well at first to numb nerves, but it could lead to serious bone problems later in life....so probably dont do it. The better thing to do is to pick a punching bag or sand bags. It is softer than bone so it wont damage the bone. It well help with creating some stronger shins as well as alot stronger muscles from the work out. But it desensitizes the nerves which is the main goal.
