I like to stay up to date on the blog on the level 1 homepage- www.level1productions.com. Its updated frequently throughout the season, and reading about the L1 crew's experiences makes watching their film the following fall a lot more enjoyable. The newest entry is a long piece on a heli trip to alaska. The whole write up struck me as being really well written and sheds a lot of light on how challenging backountry in general and more specifically alaska can be.
