So i had this whiskey last night and it was the best thing in the world but i cant remember the name. Its like cherry flavored and the name ends with _________ de amor.  HELP

I looked it up heres the formula

1 1/2 oz Canadian Club® whisky
1 tbsp grenadine syrup
1 oz cranberry juice
1 splash ginger ale
1 splash club soda
1 maraschino cherry

but yea cosmos are gay so, whatever, what have you

Im pretty sure you fucked up the name of the whisky! i know a lot about whisky and i could tell you if their is a whisky that ends with "de amor" it's probably a cheap italien or spanish one which 1. probably doesent exist and 2. pretty fucking gross cuz what do the italien or spaniards know ab out whisky!

You sure about that? Whiskey doesn't taste like cherries and not many find the taste to be good/enjoyable straight unless they are over 30.

Well thanks for all the fucking help NS.. i found the name its like amierto de amor, im not sure. And no its no Southern comfort, yes it is whiskey, yes its a fruity drink,  no im not gay, and yes it is really shitty and cheap, 10 bucks for a fifth actually which isnt bad i would say. Anyway i wanted it because a girl asked me to get some, cause i told her if you mix it with bear it taste like Dr. pepper. which it does, i found it we drank it, we got drunk, and we made bad decisions, no thanks to you guys. Thanks anyway though

congrats on figuring it out., I mean I wouldn't often  drink a wisky that tastes like cherry but that is personal preference (if someone gives it to me for free, I'll drink just about anything that is liquor related). Now if you were to put in front of my face a nice glass of Jack D on the rocks, then i would be in a god place. Actually I might go make me one right now.

also to those who don't appreciate Sailor Jerry, you should try my friend Lady Bligh.

SOCO is something I'll drink but can only handle so much before it gets to sweet for me

getting off topic though , never ever ever get Montezuma tequila. save yourself the pain and spring for Jose. Unless you like tasting bad tequila with everything you eat/drink for the next day and a half

it is Amaretto. It is not a whiskey, it is an ALMOND liquer. You usually put it an 151 or everclear in a shotglass, light it on fire and drop it in a beer. That is called a flaming doctor pepper.

This is really fucking weird.  I just read a story on TuckerMax.com and in it the main character Tucker drinks one of these.

"It was around 8pm when we rolled in there, and the bar was nearly empty. Not a problem, this crew can make it's own party. Mermaid told the bartender, "Seven Flaming Dr. Peppers."

At the time, I had no idea what a Flaming Dr. Pepper was. The bartender set up 7 pint glasses, each about half full with light beer, in a sort of pyramid formation on the bar. He filled 7 shot glasses about 90% full with Amaretto, then topped off each with Bacardi 151, and set them on the lips of the pint glasses. He then took a huge swig of Bacardi 151, put a lighter up to his face, and blew the alcohol in his mouth through the flame, sending a massive fireball over the shot glasses, each catching fire. While they were still on fire, he hit one of the shot glasses, starting a domino effect, each shot glass falling into a pint glass, putting out the flames and fizzing the beer up. We each grabbed a glass and chugged it, and I'll be damned if it didn't taste exactly like Dr. Pepper."

well with Redbull is about the only way I drink it, but I have done it straight before and it's sweeter then Soco, but if you do it when it's chilled in a chilled shot glass (ie. do a shot from the Jager dispensers) then it is pretty legit and tastey.


But I've also done 151 straight so I'm not exactly the smartest drinker at times.

Worst shot I've done recently is a prerrie fire (my friends gave it to me and said here drink this, so of course I downed it quick) it's tequila and hot sauce, my mouth burned for a bit after that one so I can only imagine what people will get me to do on my 21st
