For those of you who don't know who Wale and jay Electronica are you should. I've been on these guys for a while and usually don't post stuff because of a lack of motivation but this is too good. Wale's from DC so he hasn't gotten that much exposure yet but he recently got signed and is gonna blow up (On the new Roots single, got a new mixtape, Mark Ronson fucking loves him). He's got swagger like no rapper I've heard in a long long time.
Generally makes feel good hip hop about shit that he loves, sneakers,
clothes, bitches, and music. Jay Electronica is originally from New Orleans but is in NY now and is crazy lyrically, on some Pharoahe Monch type shit. He's been cosigned by some legit people and his verses over The Eternal Sunshine for a Spotless Mind score are fucking insane. These two are reinvigorating my love for hip hop. Wale just dropped a new mixtape today with clothing company 10xDeep and DJ Nick Catchdubs. Shit is craze and has a Seinfeld theme.
