Newschoolers has always been associated with "E-Hate". It always has, and always will. Sometimes its hilarious and makes us all shit our pants laughing at a computer screen, but when it gets too much, people start getting pissy about it and it fucks up all the threads with WAY too much hateful ranting about..
As you know, many kids on this site are exactly that.. kids.. They are in high school. As we all know, high schoolers are typically the biggest haters in the world. They use any means necessary to get at each other when they dont like each other.
Newschoolers is also growing by the second. Every day theres a new couple of members, a few more pink names.. etc..
All this infusion of people to the site is making things a bit nuts, and increasing that hatred. Karma and feedback only facilitate this.
People bitching about WHO LOWERED MY KARMA and stuff is going to come out, and there will be 15 year olds bitching and whining about such things in the future. Not too stoked about that. Feedback, well.. this gives even more chances to hate... at least if they are blunt about things, or just brutal. Tonight I just saw someone call somebody fat. Nawt coo brah. Sure, perhaps it isnt exactly the worst thing in the world, but it was to a pink name, and thats naaaahht coo.
Okay, maybe I should just stop hating here myself and get to the fucking point. I just hope that Newschoolers doesnt completely turn into Hateschoolers, and people use the karma and feedback for better more than for worse. PLEASE dont act like you're 13 on this site people... there are plenty of us who've been on here since 02/03 or even longer, and are not interested in hearing bullshit.
Just act like adults... hate on haters and LOVE ON SKIING!
