Hey all. I'm new here, but I'm looking for some insight about whether or not I should transfer universities.
This is long so I put sparknotes at the bottom.

So
guess what came in the mail today. Chapman University letter of
acceptance! Here is the kicker... I don't know if I still want to go.
There
so many opportunities at Chapman, the opportunity to meet new people
(more specifically, some business majors!), better faculty, better
hookups when I graduate and need a job, more stuff to do when I'm on
campus.
Then there's Cal Poly
Pomona. Nothing really so wrong that I can't work with it, but once I
graduate I'm pretty sure I'm on my own in term of getting a job, and
I'll know very few accounting majors to help me out. Due to the state
budget cuts getting classes is a bitch so I might be staying over my 4
years to graduate. BUT thanks to it being a public school, classes are
easier so I can have a higher GPA.
Cal Poly Pomona is just a very average place to be.
(I hate being average more than anything)
Now
the thing is that while I'm leaning towards going to Chapman, I'm
wondering if it's worth $45,000 a year. My parent won't get financial
aid so it's $90,000 out of pocket. That's a fucking Porsche! I know we
can afford it, but any way you cut it, $90k is an insane amount of
money for 2 years of school.
Sparknotes: Stay at Cal Poly Pomona, or go to mega expensive Chapman University?
What do you think?
