a friend of mine was driving through georgia on a road trip. hes a northerner mind you, and he ends up getting pulled over for speeding. the cop goes "son you were goin 80 in a 60. no one goes that fast through georgia." my friend responds with "well, Sherman did"
he ended up spending the night in jail lol

You could get away with that(both speeding and saying that in ATL) but not outside the city. Theyll pull tons of northerners over for no reason other than new york plates.

My cousin and I were stuck in atlanta flying back to NY. There was some crazy delay or something and our connecter was cancelled. The next US Airways flight to NY wasnt for another 9 hours, so we figured we would go and check out atl. Even so much as saying the words "dude" or "bro" when we walked into places got people looking at us funny. Some guy asked us if "yall was from HUHWAYEE."
Food was cheap though.. Not bad either.

EPIC! funniest thing I have heard all week no doubt.
I've been to the ATL like 5 or 6 times and I really don't like it a whole lot, then again I'm from WA so it's the exact opposite in almost every way. I just am not a fan of the south at all.

Southerners can be hilarious at times...especially when drunk. My boyfriend is from WA and I'm from FL. It's definitely a fun relationship. HAHA!
