not hating but dude how is anybody going to judge wheather or not you could get sponsered if you put your fist backflip. Chances are that you not good enought tho if you recentley landed your first backflip.maybe you could look at some of the top rated promos and see if you compare

it takes more than your skiing to be sponsored. you have to be rather well known, you must be able to display their product well and positively, and YOU MUST HAVE MORE THAN DOUBLE DIGIT IQ < no matter what, you lack this one

theres no way you could get sponcered.  This jump is practically built for backflips.  My friend isnt even that good and he can backflip.

that was unnecessary and your grammar isn't even correct, so in your words "YOU MUST HAVE MORE THAN DOUBLE DIGIT IQ". with that said, to the thread maker: i believe only one person in this thread has given you useful advice, and that is you don't have nearly enough footage. yes a backflip is a first step in getting better and thats good, but you need to realize skiing isn't about getting free stuff. I do it because it's something i love to do, and so i go out day after day and just ski and practice, and i get better. you need to be good in a lot of areas in order to get sponsored. so props on the backflip first try, that means you have some obvious skill, but your going to have to learn to do a whole array of tricks and present them in a way that someone will enjoy watching, thus not youtube. getting sponsored also comes from talking to people in the industry and going to competitions, thats how you get your name out, and thats where and when you get picked up. No one wants to sponsor someone who is just in the game for gear.
