Line and k2 skis suggestion

hey all, i'll get a deal (for helping in the park that year) with k2 (line). so i should be able too choose more or less between one of their skis. i know i could get the most expensive ski and sell it and get two, but lets stay honest. i am kinda tall (6'1"), so any park ski that is coming under 175 is too short.

for park ski:
i ride a lot of park and have no problems handling any ski on groomers, so that doesnt matter. my park ski hasnt to be great in powder as well. i just need a ski that can take 60+ tables all the time. shouldnt break on rails very fast but i am not riding too much rails.

so which park ski by line or k2 would fit me?

for powder ski:
i'll probably get a park ski, but if they cant get me the one i need, i maybe have to go for a powder ski. i like slow to above-medium turns, technical stuff, 10-30 ft cliffs and also occassional switch riding.

so seth/hellbent vs. prophet/sir francis bacon/ep pro?



just tell me anything you know about a park/powder ski by line and k2.

As for a park ski, it sounds like you're not doing to much rails/boxes, so I'd stay away from the invaders/anthems as they are realllllll soft.  The chronics and the blends are stiffer and would be sturdier on jumps.  You wouldn't go slip-sliding all over the place on the landing.

For powpow, I personally am not into the specialty skis because I don't get to ski much pow.  Depending on where you are, the first decision needs to be if you want a ski like the Hellbent or EPPro, or something more "normal" like the Madens or Lizzies.

id say go with some extremes, sound like what you need and from what ive seen are a siiiiick ski

k2 pe's/extremes would work well on big jumps and kill it on piste. the same is true for line chronics.
k2 kung fujas or line chronic blends would both work well as a one ski quiver
k2 seths/obsethed in a 189 would be a good pow ski, as would 186 line prophet 100s.

i think you'd be a bit big for line bacons and if you are in europe then rockered skis like ep pros or hellbents are unnecessary.

so wiil you be able to get 1 or 2 pairs of skis? if it's a one ski quiver you need then there would be several options but if u can get 2 then your decision would get much more interesting.

chronics and bacons for a soft powder ski, or prophet 100s for something stiffer thatll handle a lot of conditions.

i would get one ski, but i tend to go away from a one-ski-for-everything quiver. i just like a park ski in the park and a pow ski in the powder.

primarily i need a park ski (because my 05/06 ar5s delamed), and my pow ski is good enough for one more year, so i will go for the park ski, but as i said, maybe i need to take a second or third choice ski.

so my list would be something like that right now

1. line chronics
2. pes/extremes
3. ep pro/hellbent (btw, why wouldnt i need rockered skis in europe?)
