Boots????

Alrite, Last season my feet were getting slammed into the front of my boot so i need some new boots. Yeh i kno that i could go to a ski shop and try every boot on but im lookin to not waste time. Last year i was ridin some older Salomon 26.5 w/ a 9.5 shoe size. I was just wondering if i should step  up to a 27/27.5 or if different boots have ranged sizing.

2-3 hours in a good shop vs bad fitting boots and wanting new ones again next year. Your call.

I was just lookin around at boots and it looks like last yrs Rossi Sprayers sell supa cheap. I was wondering if the low flex 50...is a prob? or why the hell they r so cheap

i dont see how people ride such low flex boots
i ride 110's and they feel soft, i would think 50's would feel like lucha libre boots

i just got some rossi scratchs, they are pretty sick. really comfy, soft enough flex (90), heel impact cushion, and they look dope too

Yeh these r the Sprayers tho...those r sick but cost like 3x  more. I was just wondering if ne one had the Sprayers n if they were super soft

going to a shop to get boots fitted is NOT wasting time. go ahead and buy suits, skis, poles, gloves, etc... on the internet

but for boots, go get it done right

and toe jam like that can be caused by a boot that is too big for you too, my toes touch the front of my boot and i never get it becuae mhy foot doenst move in the boot

go to a shop and get fitted.

rossi fits different than salomon but both are dope if they fit correctly

sprayer and  scratch boots are different widths, shapes, liners, and parts hence the price difference

Don't be afraid to shell out on boots.  Forego other new gear if it means you get boots that fit.  Boots, once invested in, can last you a long time, and are the most important piece of gear you absolutely need to know work, not guess and buy on the internet.

Your boots are probalby too big.  Most people oversize their sneakers, which means that your shoe size has nothing to do with your boot size.  For example, I wear size 11 shoes, 10.5 feels too small, but I wear a size 26.5 ski boot, because that is how close of a fit you need for optimum control.  GO GET FITTED!!!

No, Im sure that my boots r def. not too big lol they hit the front when i put them in. I will have to go to a shop and try on rossi's

ive got 9.5 shoes and 26.5 boots, and thats where you should be at if you want a boot that fits correctly
remember that a 26.5 may feel a bit snugger than you want it to in the shop, but the padding inside packs out and forms to your foot, which will give you a more comfortable feel on the mountain.

i really reccomend nordica superchargers. i got them for this past season and they are amazing... especially if you need a bit of a wider boot.

I guess it depends on what you consider your comfort level. For instance, alot of racers go at least a size if not 2 smaller cause they want that stability. They usually walk around with all their buckles undone up until race time when they strap in. I have 2 dif sets, one race and one for everything else. My race are a size and a half smaller and my regs are, I believe half a size smaller.

Yeh..must just b people's confort lvl cuz i went into Ski n See n tried some SPKs on that where i think 27.5....also because the padding wasnt packed but they felt extremely tight...even worse than my 26.5
