Im looking for a decent mic so that i can record myself. its just me and my guitar so i only need a single mic.  i need something cheap that will plug directly into my computer.

I assume you don't have an amp.  But if you do, you can run a cord through your line out/power out jack and plug it into the mic jack on the back of your computer.

As far as mics go i just have one that came with our shitty 98 PC and its got alright quality.  Any mic will do really if you have an acoustic.

^uh to record myself so i can hear it, then burn a cd. thats why i said it should plug into the computer

i'd be careful with this, i did this with my amplifier and my computer no longer has sound... not to say that it won't work, i guess it depends on what kind of amp you have
