Full Tilt question.

They're narrow. Real narrow. Everyone I know with a fat foot that has tried them, hates them.

Yeah i know they're real low volume and out the box they are a real narrow fit, but I am just wondering if anyone who's a fitter has sold these to someone with a fairly but not abnormably wide foot.  Or if someone owns a pair who found them real tight out the box but were sweet when heated.

Dude, I have a narrow ass foot and out of the box they felt real tight. Nice after I molded them. They aren't going to work for you.

When i tried fulltilt, they fit rediculously wierd on my foot. I like to think of my foot as an average foot, so I have trouble believing that number.

When I tried them on, they felt really really weird. I'm told that as soon as you mold them they change to the best thing ever though. Still, $600 is a lot to drop on a maybe.

i was wondering the same thang since i got a wide foot as well, but im  never buying a boot again with out fitting it first

I've sold a few to ex-Flexon users whose feet I would call average width.

I have a d width foot and fit almost perfect in a dalbello and full tilt though I needed to stretch my little toe area but I need to do that with any boot.

If you get the liner moulded with a toe cap that will maximise toe box space. The intuition liners come up short before they are heated and if you put a cover over your toes once heated and then put the liner on, this will increase the toe box volume and draw your heel to the back. If you get some fitted I would recommend using a toe cap. It will be tight when it is moulded but once you take it off it will keep its shape and give u more room. Its quite difficult to explain....

Also the fulltilt shell can be stretched for some width like any other shell, much easier to stretch than the old flexon boot.

If you have an 'E' width foot which is pretty meaty I wouldnt bother though as it will be too difficult to increase the volume that much. Look into tecnica and Atomic for higher volume boots. Head make some high volume boots though their Mojo boot is not high volume, only high volume in the calf,not the fore-foot.

Dont get hung up on one specific boot though..
Try all the usual suspects, Ellis brigham, Snow and Rock to try some, though beware of their sizing as these stores tend to give out boots that are too big. IN general I would size down one size at least when buying ski boots so If I wear a 9 shoe,look at a 26 boot, 10 27 and so on. Though some boots do measure long, for instance dalbello sizes long internally compared with other boots of the same size.

I hear Beans of Bicester has the best fitters in the UK. Check em out..

I went to EB kensington (my closest) and they had nothing, all their stock has been moved for the summer.  I will never buy without being fitted and will never trust S+R.
I have emailed Full tilt so I'll see what they say about their percentage claim.
I know about the intuition liners man, i own a pair and had the pleasure of the toe boxes once already, it wasn't the most pleasant feeling.
Full tilt has just interested me, I am not hung up on this company, and I am completely open to offers, but I am after maximum comfort from a boot as i spend 6days a week 9-4 in them over the winter so it's important, and everything about FT seems to sound perfect excluding the fit. So we will see how it goes when I eventually get to try a pair on with a reputable fitter.

i thought these were the most uncomfortable boot ever. i have a fairly wide foot and i love my spk's.  if i were you i would stikc with the spk.

The liner is 11mm out the box. It can compress to 6mm and expand to 17mm  This therefore allows the intuition liner to fit in any boot and to any foot; though not every foot in every boot i am aware.  This is also the same in the full tilt...
I know shit about the boot, but a fair bit about the liner.  I have take your view in to consideration and am just getting a varied feedback. Your knowledge/opinion is not everything to me.

I do know though, as it states above, that a boot shell can easily be stretched to fit a foot (within reason) but is nigh impossible to shrink a boot.
i do not mind a tight fit, i do not mind spending time and money to stretch a boot to fit if it will be the best performing boot i have ever gotten to try.

Please don't worry yourself about it man. It is nothing to get all wound up about.
I am looking for people with experienc eon working with the boot to speak up and okay this may be you but you cannot speak for everyone.

I cant ski for  more then 5 minutes in a pair of unmolded flexon but I wouldnt take them off when I got them molded and got used to them.

Still you ddefinatly want to see if the shell fits without the liner in it.

Yeah I really need to try one on i know this, there is always the chance that it won't fit which is cool. But if anyone has experience with fitting this boot or stretching it then please post up.

Shit brah, you're the one getting you "nigh" panties in a bunch. I'm just trying to tell you what the deal is. I haven't worked in a ski shop for several years and I have never fit a pair of boots before. Let alone own the boots myself. I must have no idea what I'm talking about.

You're obviously already sold on the idea that you can make the boots work. Buy them.

And for the record, the first time I tried the boots on they hurt like hell. Lot's of pressure points, but I could tell that by heat molding them they would be taken care of. That was the case. If your foot is too WIDE and you cram it in there, you can tell right away it won't work. It's a different feeling than small pressure points all over the place.

Full Tilts have a 95mm last making it one of the narrowest boots on the market. And as for widening the boot, it's a lot different to punch out a 3 piece boot than a standard 4 buckle boot. The tounge won't always sit back in the right spot and yadda yadda. Think about it.

Once again, just trying to give you a heads up. Do what you want.

Pistol, cheers for backing up your point with some actual facts... Your opinion became a lot more understandable when you say you've worked on these boots and shit like that. Before you just seemed like some kid with a point of view who owned them. 
I am not a mind reader bro, how am i meant to know you have experience on these boots without you telling me?
All i wanted to hear is what you've said in the last two posts, shame it took so long to get it out of you but cheers man. I can now forget about the FT and try some boots that I have access too...
Basically, from this thread i was trying to find out if these boots would work for a wideish foot, and if it would i would hold off getting fitted until I found a shop that carried FT aswell as other brand of boot.  I was never set o these, I am just trying to get some view on them.

Dude just go and try them on. Call EB at MK and see what they have in just now.

And whoever said it's a 95 last, I'm pretty sure it's 98. I have Falcons now (98) and the FT feels the same width at the forefoot.
