Sesame street and the muppets...

so i was at some grad party and out of nowhere i started talkin about the muppets. then some asshole started sayin somethin about how none of the muppets and sesame street puppets r the same. i was strongly disagreeing so i thought id bring my argument to ns. im to lazy to do the research for myself so someone tell if there the same or not.

I don't believe any of the original puppets are on the show. Those would be considered antiques now.

Well obviously not the actual original puppets. I think he was just saying that (some of) the muppets from the Muppet Show were also on Sesame Street. And no rational person can argue that Kermit the Frog was not on Sesame Street.

Yes and no, I think. I can't ever remember him on the Muppet Show, though he did have cameos in some movies I think, but don't quote me on that.
