Ok good guesses, well it actually stands for a code in the oakley factory to use leathal force if anyone goes into the design center with out authorization. Its pretty cool!!

i honestly have no idea. so far there has not been an answer. in the song Mobb Deep - 'Shook Ones,' (tanner's song) he mentions the numbers 1-2-4-2 under his breath, but maybe i just heard shit... i just listened to it and he says it somewhere around 2min20sec. it's obviously not why they called the movie that; i'm just bored and thought it could be a coincidence.

its the alarm code of the oakley head office in cali...

no joke..this is not related to the movie its self. remember last year the 1242 oakley Jib in tremblant..and anyone has seen the Oakley Skateboard decks last summer with 1242 on it??the reall rumour, that oakley says(real rumour but probably a false fact) is that Jim Jannard created oakley at 12h42.
