alright so my dad and i are building a fdf and initiall we got pvc but he had the idea of that kind of countertop called mica or sumthin...it seems pretty slippery especially w/ water on it...i was wondering if anyone had done it before if so how did it go...ill post back after its built to let you guys know how it went

is this the stuff that has like a plastic topsteet guled on to partical board.  If so you dont want to use it the plastic chips alot and particals swell when they get wet

^^^no it would just be the laminate (its like close to 1mm thick)

ive seen kids who have it and i hear it slides really well.  but it wears down really quickly so you would have to reapply it often.

ya they come in huge sheets...i will be using the rail saterday and ill post pics when im done and let u guys know how it went
