Pretty new to the whole freeskiin thing cause I used to be a boarder... but I went to church, confessed my sins and they handed me a nice new pair of twin tips : ) Anyway, I just need someone to explain to me the difference or what makes a cork- bio- D spin etc
I know mistys are frontflip spins and i thought i knew the difference between the rest but I was in a comp a while ago and just listenin to everyone else talkin made me think i was a bit off.
First to reply wins brownie points!

correct me if im wrong, but a cork is where you spin off axis with your head pointed back, and bio head pointed forward.

its the same thing as snowboarding +90 degrees, a bio is throwing it forward, while a cork is throwing it back, a D spin is a bunch of shit and I dont really understand what they are, I'm pretty sure there something like a lincoln or something like that

-misty- basically as you said, a frontflip with a spin.
-bio- a misty that does not go upside down
-cork- sort of a bio, but your feet face down the hill, and your head faces up the hill. you throw em back, not forward
-dspin- a cork that you go inverted on
-rodeo- much debate as to what the exact way to explain it is, but the way i think of it is (and im sure somebody will dissagree) that you spin like 90 degrees then backflip. you wont actually backflip, but add those 2 rotations in your head and you got a rodeo (obviously, you spin more than 90, but you start to backflip at 90 (at least when i explain it this helps people understand)
-flatspin-a rodeo that is not inverted
hope i helped!

^basically exactly everything you need.
d-spin is just overcorked, cork is thrown back, bio is front... everyone kinda just calls everything cork now.. at least when seeing any of those three.. specific terms dont really even matter.

In order to not get confused you sort have to assume that about 50 percent of people have no idea what they are talking about.
