Have a mac and want to save a few gigs of memory?

i read in the thread about iwow that there is some program that deleated all the extra languages from your mac and saves space... i googled it and found it. its called monolingual

mine is running right now and ive saved over a gig. i left the languages it has unchecked as default on it, just in case (stuff like spanish and french). anyways it saves a ton of memory so i thought you guys would apreciate it.
i also kept everything on the other 2 tabs, because i dont know what they are. watch out for those and dont deleat them unless you know what your doing, because i dont haha.

it finished. it said i saved 400 something mb, but my HD says i saved about 1.5 gigs. its worth it

no, PC is a different OS.
http://www.xslimmer.com/ can save you alot more memory too. I suggest everyone try that out for mac because whether PPC or x86 youll save a lot of space from architecture crap.

well i did the other languages, and ended up saving about 4 gigs total. thats a lot of space!
what are the architecture things? is it a good idea to remove them?

At the rate the external drives are going its not even that big of a deal for computers anymore, laptops are another story.

well, it only saved 90mb for me. and i only unchecked like 2 others. any clue why?
