We all ski here, let's be friendly

Think about it. Usually whenever I randomly meet another skier it's grounds for an instant friendship. So why all the hate on a site where we all share the same love?
Think about that the next time you feel like bashing someone.
Anyone agree with me?

but it doesnt always work that way. the other day i saw a kid walking down the street with a 4frnt shirt on, so i stopped and asked him how to get to chads from the bottom of alta. the kid looked at me lik ei was some kind of mental patient. i can understand where youre coming from, and id love it if it were really like that in real life, but it isnt always.

if i meet a skier outside the resort they are usually cool, but half the time when i say something to a kid at the resort he's a prick and wants to stay quite to me and then snicker about me with his little wanker crew about my lu kangs and spread eagles. So not all of the skiers are that friendly, most over 18 or so are tho

i'd ride keystone without poles exsclusively to get hate, then claim NS and see who stops.

Hahaha, wow, what assholes.
The mountain I ski at is friendly as hell. We have a ton of boarders and for the most part they love when skiers throw down. If there is any hate, it's usually on a claimer. I never knew keystone was that insane, I would probably ride no poles just to spite everyone. It's a park, don't get so stuck on poles

nah, one of the chillest kids i ski with was a big time racer (top of his division, went to JO a couple times) and one of the most critical kids probably couldnt make it down a downhill course or ski a slalom run if his life depended on it, i think humans in general are just competitive.

That is a pretty damn good theory. Even guys who aren't competitive ultimately get pushed by others to try to be on the same level as anyone else. Almost every boarder I met does it for the love, even the ones who are sponsored could care less. I hope skiers soon become the same and stop getting this glamorized view of skiing and start doing it for the sake of skiing.

you cant use poles in out big air, just a safety thing, so you dont spear your self i guess, which doesnt affect me.
but when people hate on each other on NS we all know were all fucking around and kidding, unless you fuck someone over buying/selling, because EVERYONE is guilty for atleast hating on some one here on this site. its just the nature of the beast.
