Sorry to bump an old thread, but I wanted to express my stance on it. I was talking to my mom the other day, i'm 13 years old, and this is the first time she ever told me that she had a miscarriage. She was heart broken at the time, very very upset. I have a sister who is 3 years older than me, and my mom had her miscairrage when my sister was about 1 year old. The baby died when my mom was 4 months pregnant. I can't even imagine how devestating that is. After hearing this story my opinion on abortion has changed. I hate to see high school kids ruin their lives by having kids, and women being raped. That would be different, and I am still even iffy then with abortion. I just can't imagine killing a baby, completely ruining their chance at life. I just think that that is awful. You have no idea when people use abortion as a form of regular birth control, that upsets me. I think life itself is so valuable. What if my mom had an abortion, I wouldn't even be alive right now. I'm not the preaching type, and I'm not overwelmingly Christian, but this is one thing I feel very strongly about. People who just fuck around and have unprotected sex whenever they want, then they find out they're pregnant and just automatically get an abortion, I can't stand these people.
I think it's almost as bad as murdering another human being. Not quite as bad, but I think people take life for granted, I for one refuse to ever be one of these people.
