Replying to ++KARMA++ for some good ideas

So, i happened to find three pieces of steel pipe each being 10 feet long and 1 inch diameter.
The problem is, im not really sure how to use these to make a sick jib.

Anyhow, i figured the best place to find out how to best use these pipes, of course, was Newschoolers.

So, what i need to know is:

1:    is a wooden frame similar to those used for pvc rails my best option or should i look into something else?

2:    im thinking that i should put all three rails parallel next to each other to make a tripple barrel rail,... Good/bad idea, any other options?

3:    what is the best way to attach the rails to a long 2x4 or 4x4? i was thinking about drilling through and using a screw / washer combo, one on each end of each rail. is there anything easier or better to do?
