Hey guys,
Speaking of there still being lots of snow left in the Northwest.... I am living in Metaline Falls in Pend Oreille County, Washington this summer for an internship and am looking for people to maybe do some late-season Ski mountaineering around here with. Metaline Falls is in the middle of nowhere [seriously, look it up] in way northestern Washington like 50 miles south of Nelson, B.C, in the Selkirk Mountains. I was amazed to see how how snow there still is up high here; looks like it should still be good for a while! I have an A.T setup [K2 Seth's with Duke Bindings, Skins, ect..] and Avy Gear, plus a lot of general backcountry travel stuff. I'll be free pretty much every weekend, am also def. interested in hitting up some of the Mountains around Nelson B.C and maybe farther in Canada.... prob. make a few trips out to Whistler for some summer glacier skiing. Anyways yeah shoot me an email and if anyone else finds themselves way up in Northeastern WA let me know!!
Peace,
Phil Persson
