Stupid kids who think they are smart

i hate them. i have so many kids at my school with pins on their backpacks that say shit about the government and that talk like they know about politics. some emo girl in my class was talking about how the republicans rigged the last election, and that they are going to do the same for mccain, and that mike "huckleberry" is a faggot. and every day when we do the pledge of allegiance she turns away from the flag and refuses to stand up. fuck. i'm not saying that i am any expert or anything, it just pisses me off all the kids who say stuff about how corrupted our government is, but they don't even know how to pronounce a candidate's name.
my rant is over.
anyone have kids like this at their school?

Tell her she is a dumb bitch. If she hates government so much then why would she be so anti-mccain, I mean unless she is a ron pauler or likes the natural law or libertarian party she probably likes obama or hillary who would definitely increase the size of the government. I don't think you should have to recite the pledge and put your hand over your heart but turning your back to it in the morning is such a douche move. People have died for that flag and whether you agree with the war or not(I don't) you should at least sit there and be quiet while others stand up and stare at the flag.

I could be that kid, but to a much much lesser extent. There is a possibility that our elections in 2000 were rigged, but I'd like to think i would know enough to pronounce the name of a candidate (whom is out of the race), but i disagree with anyone who looks away from the flag. Thats just a cry for attention. (classic emo girl move, as well as many pins on backpack, bag, etc.)
I actually have too many smart kids at my school who know they are smart and love to prove it. Anyone else?

yeah theres a ton of kids like that at my school that just hear their parents talk about who they like and dont like. Then the kids take it to an extreme level and start hating certain people or parties just because their parents mentioned it like once, but really never have any idea what they're talking about.
and i think its pretty dumb that they turn away from the flag during the pledge...i mean its fine to not say it, because it is sort of a waste of time, but if your not gonna say it then just stand and be quiet. dont be an idiot about it and make everyone notice you looking away

I had a girl just like that, not standing for the pledge, in my class. When we asked her to explain it she couldn't come up with a straight answer and said she didn't like war

i was walking behind some hotass broads the other day, and they were trying to figure out their bill, and they were like
"What is 28 divided by 4?" and another one goes, "I think it's 14.." and another one says "No isn't it 9?" and the 4th one goes "No I think it's 7, ya it's 7." they weren't drunk or anything, HOW FUCKING STUPID CAN YOU GET? YOU'RE IN COLLEGE!

I have a girl like that in my journalism class and who is always like, im a wiccan buddhist hindu! (who eats meat and believes in god) she tries to be her own person and hates when people make fun of her for it but refuses to talk to anyone remotely preppy
i also hate kids who take their beliefs way too far even if they know lots about them, like tehre are a bunch of girls at my school who where "republicans have more fun" shirts and preach their beliefs all day

I have tons of intellectual posers at my school. Drives me crazy. While some do know what they are talking about. Most just do it to get that image, and act like they are some kind of intellectual, but they'll just end up working a 8-5 job.

Fuck I hate those kids I was in the caf one day and these stupid emo losers were talking and I overheard one was like "Einstein was like not even that smart he was overrated his shit's liek not even proven."
And I hated my social class it was the dumbass social cause you dont need social for engineering and it was basicly like the SNL skit where Jerry Seinfeld teaches history, can't find it on youtube though.

Agreed. My views are mainly liberal, but I hate, hate, hate uneducated kids who feel they are so sweet to be liberal! In class today I got to hear about how bad it was for America, directly after 9/11, to go into Iraq by ourselves (they forgot about the part where we went into Afghanistan, and the fact that we weren't by ourselves in Iraq-although it was primarily American troops).

same for me, but there are more then a couple dumb people I don't mind, its just the ones that talk about stuff as if they know anything about the topic.
I don't know nearly enough about politics and the government, but I know its the same for lots of kids at my school so when they start talking like the girl you described it bugs the hell out of me. Sort of want to go up and rant for the people they are dissing and start saying completely random stuff, see if they catch on or just go along with it thinking i know what I'm talking about and not wanting to seem stupid.
