Full tilt Boots = less Shin Bang???

This year my boots of choice were technica agents and i got extreme shin bang.
I was wondering if i got a more flexible boot (full tilts) then maybe my shin bang would be reduced.
I think my shin bang was caused by landing backseat in the park but i know people who land just like me and dont get it.
Help!
thanks

It was caused by you landing backseat most likely, and no one on here knows the shape of your foot. If full tilts fit they are usually loved, but they could not fit your foot and you would be miserable. So in other words, no one can really answer your question. Go to a bootfitter.

What? Why would they do that?
And about the shinbang, like alaskakid said, if it's caused by backseat landing, new boots are not warranted, especially if you don't know if they fit. Boots won't help with backseat landing. Land backseat, you'll probably get shinbang. My friends brother got savage shin bang, but then he started to just stomp things, and it went away. He goes over the handlebars and stuff, but he can't ski for days if he lands backseat. That stuff is way more dependant on the skier rather the gear.

i was just saying they might throw you off in the pow because all of the flex may make you fall foward a bit when the pow slows you down... just a thought

I never thought about that. I don't know. I've never touched the boots or tried them on. I've been looking into these boots, but I really need to try them on. I've read so much good stuff about these boots. But there's no place near me that carries them, so I'm kind of bummed. Also look into dalbello. They use similar technology to full tilt in some of their boots, because apparantly glen plake was in love with the raichle flexon still, and dalbello made a more modern version of it, it has the tongue, but with buckles, and I think it retains the stiffness of other overlap boots. Again, not sure, so I'm open to correction. But it's impossible to recommend boots properly on the internet. You need to try the boots on. Fit comes first when it comes to boots, with everything else a distant second.

well i guess i have to say that i love my full tilts, before them i had a pair of dalbello krypton pros. i definately had a ton more shinbang in those and previous boots than my full tilts. just landing a bit hard would hurt my shins in my dalbellos, but now i can land way back seat and still have virtually no shin band (although it still happens). The flex is awesome. my pair, the model A (lowest end model) is pretty soft, however i havent' noticed any hinderence when im skiing pow. i noticed the flex affected my switch the most, it was softer and took a little getting used to, but now i love it. so yeah, for me full tilt does = less shin bang, but then again everyones' foot/leg is different

which agents do you have? i have some 100s and i love them, fit great, i never get shin bang, and they have a ton of control for how soft they are.

My friend once told me that if you have SPK's you simply DO NOT get shinbang - that it was impossible. I called him an idiot and took his granola bar.
