ok, so on friday, i found out i ruptured three disks in my lower back. (from skiing, and i have been living with the pain)
my question to NS is, how many of you have done this, and how long did it take you to get back too 100%?
i was supposed to be playing Baseball this summer, but after two practices, i benched myself, because i can not swing a bat.
HOW long will i be in pain?
o yeah, the doctor gave me some pills that are supposed to make it feel better(some steroid, i dont remember the name) but she said, that this might not fix the problem... and i might need to get injections into my back.

Back injuries are notorious for taking ages to heal, because its so hard to rest them. I've pulled some muscles and shit in my back and I think I partially slipped a disk once, it hurt for about 3 months before it totally went away.

good advice, take it EXTREMELY easy. you can undo weeks of healing very easily.
I crashed my mo-ped and hurt my back/shoulder half a year ago, and reinjured it a week ago. thought I was fine and then yesterday I hurt it again cause I thought it was healed. yours sounds much worse, I wouldn't take any chances if you want to get back to 100 percent fast

haha yeah, my friends have been giving me crap for that all weekend..
its funny, cause, im a pretty small guy(150 lbs) and i am not a home run slugger. haha

I had a compression fracture in my T-7 vertabre this year and it took about 5 months to heal...the doctors didnt want to put me into a back brace because they say braces kill the muscles in your chest due to lack of movement...back injuries suck, if feel your ppain
