Replying to Viruses...am I scerewed?

So I downloaded something yesterday(trying to find cracks for tunebite) and I scan it for viruses before I opened it, and a trojan showed up on the scan. So I didn't open it and I deleted it off my computer immediately. But am I still screwed? I did another scan of my entire computer and nothing showed up, but could the virus still be on my comp? Like do I have to open the file I downloaded for it to come out, or can just downloading the file fuck me. Thanks
