I thought it was closed Nov. 1 to May 1...although since it was a big snow year I dont know, mabey it will be opened a month late this year like June 1...although they dident close it in october when there was alot of snow on the road and real sketchy...so I guess they might open it with snow on it ..I have no clue anyone been to the gate latily...it will be nice going to slc from park city...80 sucks...

I was just up there on tuesday and there's probably 10 feet of snow on the road still.  You can't even see the gate.  I would give it another month unless they plow it, but I don't think they do that.

This thread basically just reassured me that I can ski when I get home in mid June... especially RIch's post. Thead jack, but who thinks it will still be possibly to build jumps in mid June? Or will it just be rail time?

it will still be possible unless it gets super warm and stays there from now until then, and even then, you probably still could build some jumps if you go high enough

Willem, I have no clue who you are, but do not fear the snow is still epic. I might have had my most fun day skiing today and its may 8th. The bird is sick, the snow is holding up pretty well and its supposed to snow again on friday.

meaannnnnn. Ill probably be skiing every other day at least. We should do a massive carpool system. I probably can't afford hood either so Ill just spend a day building my own park and go bananas in Yeewwtah. Thanks guys!

keep it hush hush, but the booter we built over big bertha at brighton isnt going anywhere... im pretty sure its still gonna be around until like july.. not to mention that brighton also left in the two lift tower jibs, right after the booter that we built... soooooo....   brighton is still a lot of fun and very seshable..

Ohhh my god. You just gave me a boner... I am officially excited. Lift towers... are they in a line? I could spend days sessing those I wanna do something sick. AND that jump... oh my drool... I am officially absurdly excited. Ill see you there on June 17th... I will seriously be there.

they took 2 of the old milly tubes and made one as an up and one as a down

there is still plently of snow as of yesterday may 11th.

plently of building snow almost everywhere. brighton still has the tables sort of set-up, the hip is still there and can be fun if you get creative, plus a c-box got brought out by a large crew I'm guessing, and the lift towers are still there. plus we are getting more snow.

June 17th, I WILL be there. No joking involved. I am there the day after I get home. Those lift towers won't know what to think when were done and maybe we can give bertha a run for its money. YEWWW!

idk about the 17th.. cause im pretty sure ill have to work... but the 22nd is a sunday when i will never work so i was thinking we should have a booter/rail sesh up at bertha that sunday...  make a thread about it and try to get at many people there as possible... when we originally built the jump we had a crew of like 25 with a keg and bbq... so we should plan something dope..

there could probably be some pretty cool side jumps as well coming from both angles of the landing and then going over it to the other side...just a thought

I hope were all talking about the 17th of JUNE. I won't be around until then. Thats the day after I get back and the day before a good pal leaves so we were going to get a huge crew together anyway, but this would be SOO SICK. If everyone is speaking of the 17th of JUNE, I will def be there ready to sess till dark. Even if its just a huge rail fest it would be so fun, jumps would be a ++ though.
