When an athlete is deciding whether to go with a certain sponsor. Do you think they take everything in to consideration when making this choice. Outside of the product, does it really matter whose running the show? I've met some cool team managers and I've met some real NOBS. Do the people behind the scenes really count in the overall scheme of things?.
Jason Badgley sucks! J/k j's the man. I would deff say that what goes on behind the scene has a huge impact on the decisions that people make. even if someone is totally pleased with what they're riding, but gets treated like shit behind the scenes, than their overall outlook on the company will be shitty.
mike powell is awesome. haha he's done well for a rollerblader from McLean, Virginia....zomg! thats where i'm from! he like totally went to my high school. same with that bitty mom from gilmore girls.
I don't think Rex is a Team Manager anymore. Didn't he use to work for Atomic or Dragon. That guy use to do some pretty sick shit when he was competeing.
You mean when your athletes skis break you're supposed to give them new ones? Who the hell would have thought it?!
There are some Line riders that are on some pretty fucked up skis. Sucks for those guys, they do a lot to support the company and barely get anything in return. Line sells skis though because of them!
I'm pretty stoked Schmuck didn't get the job i.e. took the job with NS. Helped my out!
Riley Poor is a great guy for Nike 6.0. Team managers however don't do all the work. Marketing directors, reps, and athletes help just as much!
Steve Gendron from Liberty is dope! Greg at Oakley is a nice guy JF DuRocher from Bula is waaay too French. Cody from Orage orders crappy food in Chinese restaurants (just kidding buddy) and of course Hibbert
To be honest I have really no idea how well those guys treat their athletes but I do know they're stand up guys so I would assume they treat their athletes as well if not better than they treat their friends.
For the sake of some clarification, I previously had that job in Canada,
but left to come work for NS and had just started when the US position
became available. So with all due respect to Line, I wouldn't have applied. They
made a fantastic choice in hiring Josh Malczyk though. That boy has got
his shit together.
^ Finally someone mentions my name! gosh my ego was taking a big hit there (kidding, kidding)... I'm too new to have an opinion about yet. line, wooohoo!
