Replying to I didnt know i could steal by paying for somthing...

so today at lunch i am chillen, and realize i have some money. so, i go up to buy some thing from the cafateria (sp). Which might i add is insanly over priced.any way i go up to buy two cookies. As i am up there i think i may need something else (turns out i didnt have enough cash) to eat. so i put one cookie in my pocket to open the gatorade thing (this is when i realize i dont have the money). As i walk out i neglect the fact there is still a cookie in pocket. this is how it went down:

Lunch lady: sir you have another cookie in your pocket, take it out!

Me:what cookie... oh okay, sorry i will pay for that

Lunch lady: to late, i am writing you down for stealing

Me: okay, but i never stole, i didnt know you could steal by paying for something i never took past the cashier.

so i basically end up with a possible in school supension even though i never stoal anything. and even if i did, its a cookie, give me a detention and get over it... btw i realize it looks like i attempted to steal, but the bottom line is i never did, and they are going to try to disipline me for bassically nothing.
