Getting New Skis

Hey So I am 5 foot 7ish. I weigh like 165 lbs. Would 184 cm skis be too big? right now i ride 171s. The new skis would be Liberty C-notes and would only use them for pow days. Should i do it or not?

I'd say they're a bit long but I guess if you like longer skis you could go for it. I ride 177 for my powder/charging skis.

If you're only gonna use them for pow days i'd go a little bigger than a 100 mm waist...As for your question though, 184 really isn't huuge, it might be a little big but I weigh less than you and ride 179 Line Prophets and I feel like I could go significantly bigger.

ok sick thanks man. I ski in VT though so 100 will be fine for here.

100 would be fine for you anywhere, you're pretty small... my friend has those skis and likes them a lot, I've never ridden them but if you think you can handle them id say go for it.

I used 186s on a pow day and I was fine and I'm the exact same size as you, I'd say go for it, but use a bigger waist like dude said above.

5'7'' and you weigh 165?  You're pretty stocky, and weight is more important  than height, so I think those will be perfect.  They might even be small if they're strictly pow skis.  I weigh 150 and I ride 185's and they're my all mountain skis.  I'm getting 191 supermojos next season.

If you mount them center they will feel shorter but i don't like center mounted skis in powder
