DON"T WRITE HALF ASSED REVIEWS

If you guys don't want to quite a paragraph under each section at least, not bother reviewing a product.

its not the worst review i've ever seen but this is currently a review in the sidebar. I mean what did that review tell me that http://www.apple.com/iphone/ didn't. The purpose of a review is it tells of first hand experience with the product to let people know if the tech specs are actually worth it so you can tell if the manufacturer isn't bullshitting their product on you.

is the review section really used that often though? cause theres always threads on here saying this ski versus that ski. shouldn't the review section take care of this issue? so maybe NS should place more of an emphasis on the use of the review section.

I looked at that review, it's not terrible, not great, but not bad either.

I understand your expectation of a proper review, what I don't understand is why you are so hard on someone who actually took the time to write a review when you haven't written any.

I think you could set a great example of a proper review, please review the gear you used this season as soon as possible.

BTW people.  The Karma system works on your interaction while on the NS website, I am fairly certain that writing reviews helps the weighting of your Karma score.

I use it all the time, and there is nothing more annoying than when there are nothing but a gaggle of half assed reviews that don't help or a review that is rated 10 and says nothing but "it's sick".  All I want is an honest, critical opinion.  It doesn't have to be an essay.

there were a couple things I missed that I didn't remember until a half hour after I was done and a couple things that belonged under 2 sections of the review so I only close one. I think we might be referring to turning radii as sin waves now.

I'll review something tomarrow If I remember/feel like it.

I'm with t_rob on this one. I spent a good deal of time on my iPhone review to ensure it was accurate. Granted there may be a grammar or spelling mistake but the review as a while was informative. Crap reviews that state "It's cool" sort of defeat the purpose of good reviews.
