So they don't see what's funny about these guys (while sick) who aren't even pro, using blades for the day and showing up what they call their sport's "top pros"?
not only did they do liu kangs in general, they did them off rails and on boxes. too bad every grab is somehow derived from the kang. we got over that shit like 6 years ago now...
"I'm gonna be the one to
come out and say this just because it needs to be said. Whether they're
riding seriously or not, there is some great riding in that video. The
stuff they're doing is on par with our pro riders. If they're seriously
riding, sweet we just picked up a few new amazing riders for the sport.
If they're mocking us, then a few twin-tip skiiers who's only purpose
was to make fun of us just showed us riding on par with our pros. I
would never drop my skiboards for a pair of twin-tips, but if these
skiiers could strap on a pair of boards and ride at top notch level,
maybe twin-tips do have an advantage over skiboards. I have seen so
much progression in this sport over the last year, and we keep seeing
it pushed farther. We have skiboarders taking to bigger and bigger
hits, throwing bigger spins, getting even more technical on the rails,
and hucking backflips off of cliffs, but we all know that there are
skiiers out there that have thrown bigger. I'd actually be really
curious what might happen if we could convince one of the top park
skiiers to strap on a pair of Revel8 boards, or what types of technical
terrain and cliff hucks we might hope for if we handed them a pair of
sherpas. Go ahead and flame me for saying maybe there's something to
their arguement, but if you really want to prove that it's not true,
get yourself out on that mountain and kill it. Peace."
