your about 30 mins from park city resorts (park city,canyons, deer valley) about 30 mins from (snowbird,alta,brighton,solitude) I just moved out here about 5 weeks ago I think this season is gonna rock I went up and checked out the resorts they look so sick.

dude you dont live in slc do you?? im just sick of everytime theres a thread on this people get so afraid of the mormon people ruining there fun. They mainly stay to themselves they dont really cause that much trouble for you and besides there are sooo many hot girls that go to this school anyway you can find plenty that arent mormon. Unless youre a loser you wont have to be using your hand. And ya to the kid that wrote this thread, its an awesome school where else can you go to a big school 30,000 kids, be half an hour to 10 resorts, and its fairly easy to get into. i had a 2.8 in highschool and i got in.

OH yea and if you are worried about getting in the u of u has an admissions index. Like it shows you that if you have a certain gpa what sat scores you have to have to get in. so that makes it very easy to tell

I want to transder to the U of U next year. The skiing is like 30 mins away and the resorts kick seriouse ass. I just need some way to get scholarships because the out of state tution is killer.

umm well you have to have above a certain sat score to get in with a 2.8. Still though i got a 1200 on sat's and a 2.8 and i was a shoe in

yea the U is the best place to go if you want to ski every day. it is close to all skiing and all the places that matter give college deals.

As for easy addmission be careful. because enrollment is up (from 23,000 4years ago to 30,000 now) i have heard that they are putting an enrollment cap in effect. in other words apply early.

The only problem is that you tend to not go to class on pow days or many days for that matter. it is taking me 5 years to grad. Summer school is the key.

campus is awesome everythings brand new and they just finished i light rail line that goes all the way up campus to the dorms and can take you right to downtown or pretty much anywhere in slc for free. Plus its pretty much a desert so its usually like 80 and sunny everyday here. In winter it'll be 55 and sunny down in the valley but drive 5 minutes up into the mountains and its 30 and just dumping snow. so thats pretty sweet too

Utah has the sickest skiing that is closer to the city than other resorts are to Boulder, Reno, etc. I want to go there next year for sure.

Only thing I hear is it can be hard to get alcohol?


I did absolutely nothing and it was everything I thought it could be.

Its not hard to get alcohol. The alcohol just isnt very alcoholic. yep. I'll be going there next year. I live in draper so im only like 15 minutes away from the U.
