ok i have a few questions...if you could throw me some input (please)
1. first off is lexan the best topsheet?
2. when putting on lexan should i use liquid nails or screws
3. should i just put the topsheet on top of plywood or what?

Lexan is a very good material that will slide really well. It's very expensive though.
You can use whichever method you perfer to attach it to the frame. If you use screws, make sure they are completely embedded in the lexan though so you don't have any chance of nicking your skis on a screw.
