Replying to Yet another ep pro vs hellbent...
HI so basically I want a ski for whistler next season and know I want a reverse camber/ rocker ski for pow days. But I also want a ski that can handle the crud and chopped up shit as whistler gets tracked out real quick.Iam150lbs and 5'11" . I ski mainly mellow lines and trees with the occasional 15 footer thrown in.I rarely ever ski anything 45 degrees plus or gnarly chutes.
I am between the 179 hellbent and the 185 eppro. Before anyone says I have used the searchbar and have looked at TGR but still would like a better evaluation/comparison of the two.
Also I will probably get an obsethed as a second ski and still keep my dumonts for the park.
I am worried the eps are less forgiving when doing cliffs as they appear to wash out real easy, but is there a much quicker turn initiation when compared to the hellbent.
I did originally consider the jp or the bacon but figure with an obsethed there is too much crossover. I want a super floaty ski, even at slower speeds as most of my buddies are jibbers (boarders) and dont ride the gnarliest/skethiest stuff.
