Soooo.... because im bummed by the lack of late season photo shoots in Montana this season, and the late season snow pack is sick, I would REALLY like to put together a backcountry photo session in slushmans in two weeks...looking at a 50-75 ft step down style jump on the winlip (depending on snowpack, last years mid-season shoot was plenty big enough for doubles), an aerial style booter over some trees next to it (JOI 08 style)...barbeque, food, music, sled access, competition style and full out photo shoot
Let me know if any of you are onboard with the idea so we can start hustling some sponsors and put together a prize purse... contact eric with Bonfire Films at:

We could use help putting the event together and coordinating if people are game, but what we really need is a response from anyone interested in the event so we can plan around everyones interests...
...more details to follow...

its not a bad skin this time of the year. newmie and i skinned up there today to check out the snowpack and figure stuff out. its lookin super good. the skin was maybe 45 minutes, going slow as hell, not breaking a sweat, just holding a conversation. Plus I was on treckers, with atomic race boots, gotamas and regular, heavy alpine bindings, and had my camera pack and tripod on my back. it was really no big deal.I dont know anymore details but i am sure newmie will keep you all posted.

I was just up at bridger yesterday. Snow is fucking deep still. I'm totally down, that would be a blast. I'll help out with anything that needs to be done.
