ok so heres a quick question. I know it probably varies from school to school but the admissions office is closed and I'm anxious for a general idea of what the answer might be.
I applied to the University of Calgary for this fall. When you apply they ask what program you would like to take for ur first choice and then they get you to pick a second choice to be considered for if you don't get into ur first choice. I picked bio-science with a major in bio-science. My second choice was Chem. The required average for bio-science is 80%, chem is 70%. now I'm not too worried here but I'm curious, if i don't get into bio-science but I do have the marks for chem, am I stuck with chem as my program or is that something that you have to make official later and can change to whatever you have high enough marks for? Also, even if I got into bio-science, am I stuck in that program if I were to change my mind before this fall?
Thanks in advance guys post if you know plz
