1 Ski for everything, help!

I am 15 years old, 5'9 140lbs and am looking for a ski that can do it all. I want to be able to ski pow really well, park sometimes and groomers with my dad sometimes as well. I am a good skier and am looking for a sort of soft ski around 100mm underfoot. The length i am looking at is about 170-175. So far I have thought about...........

Kung Fujas
Lizzies (might be too big underfoot for me)
Seths (too stiff?)
Salmon Gun
Prophet 100
Armada Arv

What do you guys think about these skis? I don't expect to have many answers about the Kung Fujas becase I dont think many of you have ridden them. I have been looking seriously at the seths and Lizzies but they may be too stiff? Also what is the flex like on the prophet 100's?

i say arvs in a 185, semi soft and at 95 in the waist they float fine in powder. they are super light so you can still huck spins in the park.  this is also just my opinion but i think 170-175 will be too small for you

dude im about ur size, weight, and age and can strongley reccomend the scratch Brigade for a do it all ski.

if u kinda only lookin at what u have suggested id say lizzies are a bit to soft and short for if u wanna actually go rippin down the groomers

the prophet 100s are probabley stiffer then what u want for park

the ARV and Gun are more on the softer side but not as soft as the lizzie

the seth in general is a nice do it all ski


id say if ur not the type who likes goin really fast, but are a more mellow skier then id say go bacons not lizzies

if you like goin fast 2 id say the brigade (my pick) gun, and seth are ur best choices, they all are similar in flex (i believe gun is the softest and the Brigade is the stiffest) but its not a big diff, they are also all around the same width as well

but from your choices id say its between the gun and seth...the only big diff to choose between the 2 are foam or wood core, mini rocker or normal chamber

You might want to look into the Rossignol Scratch Brigade BC.
Its 126-96-110 and pretty soft

next years line blend. Same mold as prophet 100 but softer flex.

the kung fujas might just fit the ticket, but they are a little narrow, Seths are in now way stiff,

maybe? but he said lizzies may be too stiff for him so I'm not sure. And to answer your question in the original post, the prophet 100's would probably be the stiffest of the skis you mentioned. There a pretty stiff ski due to the metal matrix.

I'm the same size and prophet 100s are no doubt the answer. They float super well in the powder, tear groomers, and I haven't taken mine in the park, but i assume they do fine, although it depends on the mounting. but they are such a bomber ski, definitely go for them, i love them

The prophet line is all stiff,, line blends are pretty good,, but as far as anything line has,, i would go with anthems

I really am thinking about the Lizzies, I dont really know how soft they are but i want a ski that is not really stiff. How are the Lizzies on groomers and stuff? If Im with my dad will they fell bad or not?

they're fine on groomers, they have a pretty big sidecut, it kinda depends where you mount them. they're super super soft and they can't charge lines, so if you're looking for a buttery park ski that can fool around in pow, this is perfect, but if you want a more bomber ski that tears groomers go with the prophets

If you're gonna grow, which you probably are maybe you should go a little longer.. And also i have Lizzies and i have managed to charge some pretty decent stuff on em..

I dont think I am going to grow much taller, I will gain a little more weight though.
I want to use them primarily for pow, booters, drops, some pillows and then park and limited groomers. I dont do much chargeing so I think they will be fine?

I would go something slightly stiffer than lizzies. Scratch Brigades are prolly your best 1 ski quiver you could get IMO. The prophet line is a little stiffer than that, next years blends may be good too, I think they are stiffer than the lizzies but not too stiff.

They should be fine for bumps. And to anyone who recommended anthems, There is no comparison between anthems and prophets so know what your saying before you go and recommending random stuff to people.

if they aren't gonna be a charging ski i'd say lizzies would be fine. just don't rule out seths, i hear they are a killer one ski quiver.

I used my seths for everything this year, and I didn't think they were too stiff. but I'm a big guy( 6' 3" 190)
I know a kid who is your size who rocks the 179 seth, and he likes them. but they ain't no park ski, they are an everything ski. If you ski 40% park 60% everything else, you'll be fine on seths. they worked for park, but I wasn't crazy about it.... got anthems comin' in the mail...sooo stoked.

BAcons are my everyday ski. Smallest ski I have! I love them all over. If there isn't more than 5 inches of new snow or so, i'm on the bacons. I'm about 5'11 145lbs, so a little taller than you. I've had lizzies too, but they were too short for my liking. However, I don't ski much park park, and if i did, I'm not sure if I would want a park ski or not. best thing you should do is get out and demo somethings

Next years blend in a 179, such an awesome ski, i tried it in Feb, rails on groomers like a much narrower ski and floats really well. The sidewall construction gives it more feel than this years blend or prophet. btw I have this years blend so I can make comparison. Its a bit softer in the tip which is better for pow and crud, this years blend can get deflected easily and catch you out on less than perfect conditions, or a lizzie both of which though more powder orientated are a heap of fun everywhere. I think the prophet would be too stiff for you in a 179. Perhaps next years scratch bc in a 178. Any of those three would be a dope all mountain ski.

We have those at a shop at my mountain, they are just not as wide as I would like.
