ya def, also if hillary doesnt drop and goes all the way till august, the dems are screwed, cuz right nowfor the most part, obama and hillary are fighting for the dem candidate and not pres whil mccain is doing pres campaigns, which means that if it goes till august, for whoever wins, hillary or obama will only have a few months of true pres campaign.

they (the candidates) are applying for the most important job in the world, i think we need to know as much as possible, about them,, their ideas, and who they associate with.

i dont know about you guys, but being at war for the next 100 years does not seem like a fun lifetime to me, and as history shows, super conservative economic views work only temporarily, and in times of prospering. I know the rich want to keep their money, but if they know what's best for their country, it wouldn't hurt to give a little somethin extra back to the country they live in so that it becomes a prosperous country.

I've lost all faith in politics, I honestly do not care anymore.  Whatever happens happens.  We will never see a presidential candidate that tells it like it is, and that's what we need.  Sad thing is, a good majority of the country would condemn anyone that dares to speak his or her mind and just say what's really going on or what they really think, because that's not what people want to hear.  At his point, the U.S. needs a big change, and I really don't think any of the candidates can truly give that to us.  I don't think we will see a candidate that can in a very long time.  Politics is a big popularity contest now, he said she said bunch of shit.

its not just the rich keeping thier money, its just being able to put ur money towards what u want, call it selfish, but i know i see the struggles my parents go through and when u pay those taxes, it hurts, every little bit in ur pocket helps when raising a family, i wish there was a more moderate candidate right now, the three seem pretty left and right, not a whole lot median.

dude seriously, things are getting out of hand. the media needs to quit being such fucking bitches. and hilary is a fucking cunt. she started the picture and hating on obama for drinking a beer, while there are videos of her taking shots of liquor. every god damn day on the news all you hear is "obama used the word the too many times in his speech today" and the dumbest stuff. it doesn't come down to that shit, it comes down to what they are going to do for the country.

i don't care if hilary clinton would give world peace, i wouldn't vote for that piece of shit. the clinton campaign is like a bunch of highschool drama queens digging up the dumbest things about obama mainly. then you have obama who is basically promising world peace and all this shit that he won't be able to do. and lastly you have mccain who is the kid who's afraid to walk outside cause of germs, and he is still for the war. all in all, any president we get is in my opinion not what we need right now. but personally i'm gonna say obama is the best bet...

okay, so you guys know that the mccain 100 years in iraq thing is like being there for 100 years the same way weve been in germany since wwII and in korea since the 50's right? not actually in combat for 100 years...

also, hasnt obama said that he will pull the troops, but send them back in an emergency?  that just kills me... like there wouldnt be an emergency... then we could do the invasion thing all over again! for a smart guy he has some pretty dumb ideas. (cap gains tax increase etc)

john mccain never said he wanted tto be at war for 100 years. it was a misquote, that barack being the liberal asshole he is went to town on it. mccain wants to get out of iraq quick also, he just doesnt want to defeat the purpose of going there. he like all the other candidates just want to pull out slowly. and mccain is not a huge conservative like bush, so youre "rich" comment is pretty off.

The war was a mistake, and it may not have been you as an individuals fault, but our country did it, And we have to see it through. Sure it was ill advised, not well thought through, and overall just a shitty idea, but it happened and pulling the troops out is not going to erase that.

And any one who talks about pulling the troops out before they figure out and actively accomplish stabilizing the country (region), is out of their mind.

You may not know who'll be running in 2020, but you might as well cast your vote now, because it's not like it's going to change. You're 16 and listen to your parents. I understand. Let me help you. See, when you say things like that, the honest thing to do would be to post the actual quote. Town hall questioner asks about Bush's prediction that the US occupation may last 50 years. McCain:

“Make it 100.”

Context: “We've been in South Korea ... we’ve been in Japan for 60 years,” he continued. “We’ve been in South Korea for 50 years or so. That would be fine with me. As long as Americans are not being injured or harmed or wounded or killed, that’s fine with me."

So there's the truth of it, and it doesn't look as bad as CNN makes it out to be. Of course, the next question is, "How is this at all comparable to Japan and South Korea?" Americans are dying in Iraq and will continue to die there for the near future. Particularly odd is McCain's apparently contradictory statement that he will bring US troops home when Iraq stabilizes, so essentially it's a "We'll bring them home when they aren't being shot at anymore" vs. "If they're not being shot at anymore, it's OK for them to stay" thing.

Anyway. Sound clips like that aren't the reason not to vote for McCain, any more than sound clips taken from Obama's pastor over 30 years are a reason not to vote for him, or Hillary's... well, you can make a case that the whole "sniper fire" thing makes her a liar I guess, but my point is, everyone sweats the little stuff and it's why America's politics sucks at life. Great TV though, if you can stomach it.

haha this alone pisses me off. obama never said the questions in the debate were hard, he had the same complaint i did, the fact that the debate wasnt a fucking debate. it was two candidates talking shit the whole time, for the most part hilary talking the shit, instead of covering the real issues. if hilary ends up with the nomination ill still vote for her cuz i like her better than mccain, but she pisses me off right now

Lets begin with example one. Off to a great start, i like what youre saying but all three candidates are pretty moderate. Mccain is a liberal republican, Obama is a conservative democrat, and hillary is a plain and simple moderate.

example number two. Actually, historicaly, conservative economic views work permanently barring some sort of need to shift in a certain direction for a certain purpose. Anyone who knows the slightest tiniest bit about money or economics knows that conservative economic views are the only way. If you pick up any economic text book, they will tell you only conservative economic views.

historically speaking, ALL liberal econoic policies sucked ass and led to the downfall of the regime. Case in points: Soviet Russia, jimmy carter, socialist france, Canada's dental program, the list goes on and on.

she's recently been courting the "bitter rural white person vote".  anyone see the news clip where a reporter asked her when the last time she fired a gun or went to church and she said thats thats irrelevant?  someone asks her straight up if she's pandering for votes or actually has true connections with this "demographic" and she says its irrelevant. 

if the democrats eventually bond and put up a obama/clinton ticket i dearly hope the republicans would counter with a condoleezza rice VP...........just so the media would finally have to shut the fuck up about black vote / women vote.  the media keeps gartering all this racism and sexism with all their bullshit demographics.

I'm a big McCain supporter, though I don't think Obama is self-destructing.  Hes seeming to lose a bit of his edge, but I think its because people are finally getting used to him.  He'll pick up alot of support when he finally gets the nomination.  The democratic party's big fuck-up right now is allowing hillary to remain on her campaign, all shes doing is splitting their party further so they won't have a strong candidate who can build a campaign against McCain (if she makes things to to the convention, they'll have 3 months).  It just shows how pig-headed she really is.

also, has anyone seen obama talk when he is not reading from a piece of paper, or reading from a teleprompter....  he has a really really hard time spitting out words, stumble stumble stumble... he has such a hard time answering some questions, and for me it really makes me wonder how much he has been coached in most subjects, as apposed to actually knowing what he is saying..

Also Obama is not qualified at all...Two years in the senate, many of which he was running for president during the time, not proposing a bill even...Not to mention he lives in chicago (not to hate) but has one of the worst political historys of any city...I agree with him that we need a change, but he's not the one to change the US...We need the elections to stop being a popularity contest.
