Ipod music transfer quesiton

so i bougt an ipod off a kid and id like to keep all the songs on it... is there any way i can do that without having them deleted?

preferences then manually manage songs and playlists then just drag all the music you want to put on there

download Idump it dumps all of the music on to a file
