Don't dirty your pantalones to much yet, because I don't know anything. Just wondering, in the new hunting yeti webisode it looks like Pollard is rocking some sticks with next years SFB topsheet (the wierd mushroom looking things), rockered, and fatter than the ep pro. Look sick, anyone know anything about these or are they jsut Eps with a proto topsheet?
they are just a different ski with a sfb topsheet. he tries to promote all of his skis, so he takes the topsheet and throws it on the ski he wants to use. So it is probably the EP pro, but could very well be a ski that isn't produced.
you can see examples of this in a lot of movies Pollard is in. In Idea you can see the same thing, SFB graphics on an obviously rockered ski.
its the 08/09 EP Pro methinks, id have to go back and watch it to be sure, couldve been 2 pairs or something, but I know he has next years EPs in one scene with the gondola.
No. In the gondola, he has the 08/09 EP Pro (white with tree w/ crazy roots). In the shot I am talking about, it zooms in on his boards as he is clicking in. 08/09 SFB topsheet (dali-esque) fucking massive looking skis w/ rocker. Look like beefier construction than EP pro, mounted with Dukes. EP Pro with beefier construction sounds money.
as I said before, it is simply one of the dozens and dozens of prototype skis that Pollard has with topsheets from his actual skis he is trying to market.
He only uses the Sir Francis Bacon when there is less than 1 inch of new and he is not riding in the park, making it hard to market the SFB as a ski he uses. So instead he just throws the graphics on a ski that he wants to ski in powder and solves his problem.
yea yea yea like in The Hit List, he's got some beastly ski that was never produced. and take this sighting of him for example, with "elizabeths", that clearly are not your average Elizabeths.....
5 minutes into the part two of 2 those are beastly like look 150 underfoot and mad rockered, pollard is styling in that with his steeze and clothing, by far my fav skier of all time...
