Its been 70s and 80s for the past three days in boulder, woke up today and went to class in the morning and there were blue clear skies and relatively warm, took a nap after class and woke up to about 2 inches of snow....wtf? All the chicks were running around campus in bikinis yesterday wat just happened?
yeah i was thinking the same thing joe, but you have to understand it doesnt matter that eaglecrest had over 200 inches on top when they closed last sunday, because they dont get any business this time of the year. every year its the same thing, the sun starts coming out, its light past 3 aclock, and the snow gets really good, but people just dont come. they start doing other things, dont you hear all the kids who are not pass holders complaining here for like the last month about how summer isnt here yet? its bs i know but ec makes all its money from the non pass holders and they dont come this time of the year.
Hahahaha oh wow, don't come to Vancouver... ever. Here out three local mountains are all closed as of last weekend, with 600cm bases still intact and snow accumulating. Pathetic. Not one stayed open.
I wouldn't be sad when the lifts closed. Look at the bright side, you have a whole fucking mountain for yourself! The only thing you need to do is hike, which might be an obstacle if your lazy...
