Replying to So my camera set on fire.....

canon 30D.. smoke started comin outta the battery door, and lens mount.. i was not stoked.. basically, my gf took a picture with it ( she knows how to work cameras) and then it claimed the battery was dead, then she said it smelled like it was melting, and low and behold it did. so i ripped out my batteries and battery grip and smoke just started coming out. pretty scary. canon is warrantying ( fuckin right they are ) has anyone ever even heard of something like this before?
