Replying to Quick and short survey for class

bobross:
So im in a Business Systems class and for our final project we have to make up a creative, either new or a new concept on an old idea, e-business and need some input from people on demand

Our groups idea is to create a student networking site, like facebook, but have it be purely academic.  People input their schedule and school and it friends them with people in their class or people in other sections with the same professor.  You could also network between schools on similar classes.  It would be used to be able to connect you to others for help for homework or studying, help with group projects, integrate skype or another video conferencing application so group things could be done over the internet.  There would be chat rooms class specific so like the night before an exam or homework people would join the chat room and get help.  Professors could use it to to post power point slides, notes, assignments, and could join the chats too to offer help to many people at the same time, something that really lacks with office hours.  Instead of office hours a professor could have chat room hours or whatever.  I know a lot of people, like me, would be more willing to get help from a professor or TA if it was easily accessible and more convenient.  This is just the basic idea right now and will probably have some more features soo:

1.  Would you use this service if it was free?

2.  Would you pay for this service if it added some increased functionality and was popular and useful?

3.  What would be some other good ideas to implement (we are trying to steer clear of sites like Course Hero that lets students upload there own stuff like homework and exams so others can use them, which is cheating)?

4.  Name suggestions? (ex. Storm your Studies, Better Education, The Student Library, Connection for Education...)

Thanks everyone for your input
