So i need to be able to record some stuff for this english project. i had a microphone for different video editing stuff, but it broke after it fell off of my desk. i have a new mic now but when i plug it into my comp both the sound recorder that windows has and audacity dont recognize it. i tried the mic on another computer and it worked fine so its not the mic its self.
do you think its possible the jack is blown? or is it just something in the computer settings that i dont see?
