count me in. looks like its gonna be stormy though, nothin a few beers can't fix.

I have never seen a road block for DUI's in either canyon. that would make for some record arrests on 4-20 in both canyons I know that for sure.

i will be there as well... the people i ski with (my uncle, dad, and a few friends on both sides) ski with at least a 18 pack in the backpack hahah.....

last year on closing day we were grillin steaks and drinkin some brew and this guy rolls up in a van and he is the kind of person you saw in the 60's and he goes what u fella's celebrating? My dad looks at his watch and says 4:40 i guess, and he goes i hope u guys celebrated 20 minutes ago, ahahah 4:20!! and he drove off.. my dad was stumped and i just laughed and told him..

alta has a better party spot, a better party, and better people, and better bud...have fun at brighton smokin cigs and livin the thug or hesher life, haha, jus kiddin but thats good stuff.

and its less icey then brighton kristie, it has more exposed slopes, and less snowboarders(actually none) pushing all the snow down to the parking lot.

I love brighton no matter how shitty it gets..it just has a fun laid back atmosphere

everything at pc is always so hectic, and I get more hate there then I do at brighton

i skied there on friday, and honestly id rather ski alta than ski that park again. It was horrible, honestly with how much snow we got this year, those were the best jumps they could build? And i love hitting jibs with no jump just in the ground! no. plus everything was small and pretty boring. I will talk shit all i want because its fact.


Now i never said i didnt like brighton, the vibe is sick and its chill, but i cant see myself spending MORE money than i did on a pc pass to ski there. Im sure its fucking amazing on a pow day, milly is fucking sick and ive heard so many good things about rock gardens. But really, there park is horrible.

Do you guys realize how spoiled you all sound?  Talking shit on either Alta or Brighton.  They both got hammered this year with snow, Brightons park is by no means the best in Utah, but it does give people an option to lap if the snow isn't all that fresh elsewhere.  And last days at any resort tend to be a blast, I'm sure both Alta and Brighton went off, all my friends at either resort didn't have anything negetive to say.  So yeah, thats about it, now go build some jumps

False, but it is a true fact that brightons park sucks. You can tell me all day long how fun it is blah blah blah, shit was horrible. If you can enjoy that park all year somehow, thats like a miracle, i would have to kill myself if i spent more money on a season pass there than i would i PC and have to deal with that shit park all year.

i just think everyone would take what you say more seriously if would have come to brighton and thrown down but you didnt, its not hard to miss you when you were up there the other day. besides the last weekend in lower jonesys brightons rail and box selection was far superior to PCs all year. just keep talking shit, ill keep responding kid.

Well considering i also had a pass to pc, and most of my park skiing was done there, i didn't really deal with brighton's park all that much. While it's far from perfect, it's way fun. The last just in Jonesy's is my favorite jump ever, two years running, but i can still have a blast on small jumps. Even if everyone has a different tranny and you have to actually judge your own speed(GASP!). But seriously dude, you proved to me that you have no room to talk shit. If you backed up your nay saying with some sort of skills i'd be much less likely to call you out. Every time brighton comes up, you say it sucks. Just chill, don't hate it cause you can't sesh it. And you've proved you can't sesh it. For the record: I like alta.

i can have fun at brighton and i do enjoy their park , but there is no way that brightons jib selection beat out park city's. I can see where your coming from, but there are plenty of times that the jibs that brighton had were almost impossible to get onto. Let alone they were placed in the worst places possible. Candy Land was a joke up until about a month ago. Brighton does have some fun wall rides though. You can't really compare Park City to Brighton

if you wanna ski park, move to colorado... otherwize, shut your mouth.. anyone who rips on brighton has no clue what that hidden treasure has to offer.. endless pow turns, cliffs for everyone, so much lift accessible bc, the chillest atmosphere..  and pussyfooter, you keep saying that you would never buy a brighton pass (or spend more money at brighton than you do at pc)... well then why are you here??? to ski endless park laps with our near 650" season???   while you were having fun shralping with pc gapers, i was enjoying one of the sickest seasons of powder ever to be had a b town...



and i also attest to the jumping ability to be limited by 8" while you skied our shitty as park the other day...

and to those who complain about the rail setups... are you serious??   sorry that the rail cant be just handed to you on a silver platter so you can do all your fancy swups on them... i love that brighton actually makes it a slight challange for you to get on the rail...  yet its funny how i constantly hit all the jibs at brighton this year, with no problems.... were some of the jibs a challange?? yes, but isnt that why we ski a lot?? to get better?



sorry about the rant, esp. that it was in the alta thread... but in the end... we all have fun and thats what matters... i just couldnt stand to hear people complain about such a sick mountain when i spent over 100 of the best days of my life there this year..

What does me coming and "throwing" down have to do with anything? Shit sucks man, 3 shitty jumps, 2 shit rails with no jumps, an ok down rail, another rail with no jump, a decent trap and up-down box, a shitty mailbox in the ground, and shitty down mail box, another shitty jump, an ok up rail-no lip so it basically sucks, an ok box, some gay box after that, a couple shitty bumps called "jumps", a half pipe of some sorts, another shitty jump, the worse up rail thing ive ever seen, a shitty hip, and then two down rails in the a row that are decent, and everyone else around it sucks dick.


Ok so recap, one run and there are like 4 features you can hit that are ok-decent and everything else is fun.

Now you're a snowboarder, so you probably like more of that stuff than i do because honestly if i say it sucks, its either shitty or set up for snowboarding.


Now, i dont even have time to list off PC set up and how much of it was good, wait, because EVERYTHING was good in it.


Recap, whether i can ski or not, i can judge if a park has good features or not, end of story.


And to everyone saying im bashing brighton, im bashing their PARK not their skiing, the powder skiing looks AMAZING but i get a 100 pass to alta, so id rather get a pass there.
