jewelers files would work perfectly. they're tiny and you can likely find them at a crafts store.
keep in mind that glass is, technically, never "solid". if you can find a way to heat the glass before trying to file it, you'll soften it and decrease the risk of cracking it.
altogether, though, it's a bad idea.
perhaps why it would be a good idea to blow through the piece for a while after trying to file it? wow, that was fucking hard to figure out...
he would probably rinse it out thoroughly with water and scrub it down and what not to get all the glass dust out.
I'd go for one of the files, they make pretty small files, see if your dad has one in his workbench or something, if not it's probably not worth buying one just give the piece away as a gift or sell it
DaewonSdont listen to this or any of the other responses suggesting heating it up. i work with glass and unless you are evenly heating the entire piece, its going to crack due to stress. sandpaper dosent stand a chance against glass honestly, youre pretty much fucked(shoulda checked it out before buying). if you insist on trying to fix it, i would suggest getting a tiny diamond core drill bit.(the size that you want the hole to be) when youre drilling, have cool water running on the drill bit/hole good luck
Memyselfandi1022The part about it cracking if u heat it up in one spot Thats not even true.
A-Style**so ya i just got a new piece just the hole at the bottom of the bowl is pretty tiny so its reall hard to breath in thru it when u have the carb covered. so any1 have any suggestions on how to make the hole bigger? its a glass piece so i gotta be careful about breaking it.
