Google Privacy

What do you guys think?

Do you think your email could ever be used against you in a court of law?

Do you think they are scanned for keywords?

DO you think the US gov't has access to Google's servers, which btw are bigger than any other database in the world, and contain information on practically everyone in the developed world.

There is no such thing as total "privacy" when it comes to electronic data.  You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise.

I doubt the government has access to their servers. At least not easy access.

Google does a pretty good job of "not being evil" and I feel like they're doing everything they can to keep important things private.

Many google servers are actually located on small islands in the pacific belonging to third world countries. When google approaches these places to put servers there, they dress in all black suits and have no ID anywhere saying that they are working for google nor on any of the contracts. They do this because if the people of these countries realized they were working with google they would jack up their prices enormously. I'm sure the fact that their servers are located outside of the US makes it nearly impossible for the government to have any lawful access to them.

And all of that is true, my best friends brother works for google.

Since all of the information is held within the google servers and google owns the servers, I think that the government would need a warrant or something like that in order to get into the servers.

Im more worried about the ease of access to any information which can be used against me in a court of law, if I ever do something wrong
